Self-taught Artist, Sonja Robinson began painting as a means of dealing with her father’s tragic death. She believes art and Artists have the power to heal, inspire, provoke and challenge others to go within themselves and create outside the norm. Sonja is originally from St. Louis, Missouri where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Lindenwood University. She currently resides in beautiful Savannah, Georgia where she is often inspired to create after touring the homes in the historic district, visiting the relaxing beaches or by current events.

Sonja’s artwork is known to be distinguished yet relaxed, with contemporary reference points that give flight to elements of unusual texture, fabric, color, and verve. In Savannah, Georgia she has exhibited at Savannah’s Telfair Museum, Savannah State University, and the Savannah Convention Center, but she also has artwork being sold in one of the most discussed home furnishing stores in the Southeast region; 24e Design Company.

In St. Louis, Missouri you may find her artwork inside The Downtown Four Seasons Hotel (Salon & Spa), St. Louis Public Library- Schlafly Branch, Rance John’s Styles & Barbering School and J. Arthur’s Salon.
